Best Sunday for Ages

Our Annual MHA Service took place on Sunday 11th June at 10.30am when Revd Catherine Bowstead led worship.

MHA poster 2017The theme for 2017 was 'Befriending Age', thinking particularly of older lonely people in our society.

Marking MHA Sunday is an opportunity to support the work which MHA are involved in, and it is also a way of ensuring that issues around the care and support of older people are included on our Church's agenda, so that together we can look out for those in our community who can so easily be overlooked.

The 2017 MHA Sunday was built around this hugely important area, and in particular it explored the work which MHA, in partnership with many Christian communities, is doing to address it, inspired by Christian concern.

Thank you to all who help in the work done by MHA by taking a Home Collecting Box or by contributing through the Gift Envelopes which were available on 11th June.
